I'm looking to hire someone interested in painting my RV. Right now the old strips on it are faded and cracking. They look almost like decals applied on top of a gel coat.
My goal is not to repaint the entire exterior, but rather to tastefully redo the stripping.... my way. My favorite colors are purple and orange with a hint of gold flakes. The Itasca logo has got to go, but I'll keep the Sunchaser. And... maybe add a tiny butterfly on the back. (I'll upload pics so you can see what I have in mind.)
So... any thoughts... referrals???

Re: Painting an RV
Thu, December 1, 2005 - 11:07 AMOne of my thoughts...
I had a friend who decided she was going to paint her volkswagon bus while high on mushrooms...bad idea. Even though she was an amazing artist, you could tell by the dripping painted shrooms and fairy wings, that whoever painted the orange bus was high.
Carry on...

Fri, December 2, 2005 - 9:05 AMYou mean of my half bath? =)
I'll get some pics while I'm on my morning walk for coffee. The sun is out today after 2-3 days of rain.
I'm in the SF area. The RV almost came up to Washington next week, but with the recent snow, I think we should stick to 4WD. -
